Communicate and promote the most beautiful and important sites of the Natura 2000 Network, the
“ecological network” established thirty years ago by the European Union, to protect species and
habitat at risk. The LIFE A-MAR NATURA2000 project was created to raise awareness of
protected marine sites, with their fragility and naturalistic peculiarities, to stimulate
respectful and sustainable behaviors. The project aims to enhance the marine areas of the Natura 2000 network
underlining their beauty and the importance of their conservation. The environment
marine offers a wide variety of ecosystem services to be promoted by bringing,
thus, all stakeholders to increase their love for the sea and respect it.
