Nature is a beautiful and precious resource, contact with natural habitats helps raise awareness of how important it is to protect ecosystems and is also good for people’s psycho-physical health. But the environment must also be cared for and cleaned of human waste, which is why Acqua&Sapone and Federparchi have given life to the project “Let’s take care of the environment, one step at a time”; a series of events to clean up some areas of protected natural areas throughout Italy, from north to south. An invitation to Acqua & Sapone customers to participate, as volunteers, in concrete actions to protect the wonders of nature.

Waste collection initiatives in parks are open to all and have the aim of preserving the environment, reducing visual pollution and improving the quality of the landscape; protect fauna and flora, as debris removal helps protect natural habitats; to preserve biodiversity and prevent pollution of soil, air and water, since the correct disposal of waste reduces the risk of environmental contamination and protects natural resources.

The “clean-up” days are also awareness-raising activities on environmental protection accompanied by initiatives to understand the territory and its ecosystems; they also contribute to creating communities and discovering the biodiversity that surrounds us and which we often do not see.
